Leslie P. Alspaugh, CPA
Founder and President
TitlePoint Corporation

With over 35 years of professional expertise in the title insurance industry, Leslie Parsley Alspaugh opened TitlePoint Real Estate Settlement Services and its sister company Taxpoint in 2005 – a dream fulfilled – her own company that serves homebuyers in Harford County and the Baltimore Metropolitan Area.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Alspaugh recognizes that the purchase of a new home has financial benefits and tax implications for the homebuyer. She created TitlePoint and TaxPoint in order to provide continuity of service and support from the real estate settlement transaction to the homebuyer’s income tax return preparation. Alspaugh’s passion for “teaching” shines throughout the process, for she offers pre-settlement consultations and complimentary income tax preparation for first-time homebuyers for the year in which they close on their first home.

Alspaugh is an active member of the Maryland Association of CPAs and of the Maryland Land Title Association. Prior to establishing her own company, Alspaugh worked for 20 years with the Fountainhead Title Group, in the roles of: Comptroller, Vice-President of the award-winning Baltimore Division, and President/Regional Director of the Southern Maryland Division. In fulfillment of Certified Public Accountant requirements, Alspaugh pursued graduate studies at the University of Baltimore. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Lynchburg College.

In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Alspaugh provides pro bono services to Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna. She is also active in the Presbyterian Church and in her community. She and her husband, son, and two Bernese mountain dogs live in Baltimore. top
